Цели урока:

Учебный аспект:

• активизация ранее изученной лексики по теме урока;
• тренировка учащихся в употреблении новых лексических единиц по теме «Музей естествознания и науки в Лондоне»;

Новые слова:

• тренировка учащихся в правильном употреблении глагола «tobe» в Present Perfect Tense (I've been to…. Have you ever been to …?)
• развитие умений  и навыков устной речи:
  • диалогической – составлять диалог-расспрос с опорой на образец (уметь запросить нужную информацию, дать ответ на нее, обосновав свою точку зрения);
  • монологической – учить высказывать свое мнение по предложенному вопросу и обосновывать его;
• совершенствование умений информативного чтения с детальным пониманием прочитанного; извлечением специальной информации;

Развивающий аспект:

• развитие способности логически правильно и грамотно излагать свои мысли по теме;
• развитие у учащихся способности анализировать предъявленный материал, выражать свое мнение  по предложенной теме;
• развитие творческих и музыкальных способностей учащихся и их эстетического вкуса;
• развитие социокультурной компетенции учащихся;

Воспитательный аспект:

• воспитание уважения к культурному наследию Великобритании (Лондона);

Познавательный аспект:

• увеличение объема знаний страноведческого характера в рамках предъявленной темы;

Лексическийматериал:dinosaur, insect, reptile, collection, mammal, fossils, beetle, butterfly, the Darwin Center, cloakroom, baby care room, restaurant;

Оборудование: раздаточный материал для учащихся (текст по теме «Музей естествознания и науки в Лондоне», карточки с информационными знаками и их эквивалентами), видеоролик «TheNaturalHistoryMuseuminLondon», компьютерная презентация по теме «London Museums and Parks»; обучающий компьютерная программа по английскому языку «Витаминный курс – 6 класс» (материалы по страноведению из раздела «Vocabulary»), аудиозапись песни Louis Armstrong «Whatawonderfulworld».

 

Ход урока

I. Началоурока. Приветствие. Good morning boys, girls and dear guests. We are glad to see you at our lesson «London Museums and Parks»;

 

II. Постановка цели.Today we are going to make our trip to one of the most wonderful and unique cities of Great Britain, the place with a rich history, the capital of well-known galleries, famous museums, impressive streets and parks and the name of this city is LONDON!

III. Активизация лексико-грамматического материала по теме.

• Which places of interest do you associate with London? (слайд 1, фронтальная работа, ответы фиксируются на слайде презентации).
• Look at the board. Some of the places you have already mentioned are in my presentation. Listen to me and repeat after me. (класс хором за учителем повторяет слова)
• Let’s see how well you know the places of London you have already mentioned about.
• Look at the presentation. Ex.1.Dragthewordsintothecorrectblanks (интерактивное упражнение выполняется учениками у доски); Ex.2. Matchthepictureswiththecorrectsentences. (обучающий компьютерная программа по английскому языку «Витаминный курс – 6 класс»)
• Have you ever  been to ….? (Вопрос задает учитель ученику). Workinpairs. Invite your friend to visit one of these places. Revise your dialogues and act them out. (Проверкадомашнегозадания. 2-3 пары)

IV.  Изучение нового материала.

• There are a lot of interesting museums in London. One of the most famous is the Natural History Museum. This museum is really worth visiting. What do you think people can see in this place? Look at the photos. (учащиеся высказывают предположения)
• Do you want to visit this museum? Let’s read the text about this museum. (Приложение1).But first let’s read the words from the text and do the exercise. Listen and repeat after me. (повторениесловхоромзаучителем). Now work a little, match these words with their Russian equivalents. Let’s check the exercise. Now let’s read the text. Be ready to answer the questions. (Учащиеся читают и отвечают на вопросы)

 

• When was The Natural History Museum built?
• How many galleries are there in the museum?
• What gallery would you like to visit? Why?

 

• Now we will make our trip to one of the galleries. Guess what gallery it is. (Просмотр 1 части в/фильма, ответы учащихся)
• Special museum guides can help you to plan your visit to the museum. Here you can find the information about the opening time, the cost of tickets, and the map with special signs. Today I have the signs which you can see in the Natural History Museum. (Приложение2).Let’s see if you know them. Match the signs and their descriptions. Work in groups. And now let's check. (Проверка)
• There is a special sign children like most of all. It is the sign with a dinosaur. It means that not far from this sign there is a gallery where you can come face to face with a real dinosaur. Do you want to visit the gallery and see the creature? OK, let’s watch the video and be ready to describe the dinosaur. (Просмотр2 частив/фильма)
• Now you know a lot about the Natural History Museum. Write a short advertisement for visitors to this place. Usetheplan. Workingroups. (Cоставление небольшой рекламы о музее по группам, проверка) Пример:

• People all over the world are proud of their native countries, their museums, galleries and parks. But there are things which unite the nations all over the world. What are they? Sing a song withLouis Armstrong «What a wonderful world» and answer the question. (Приложение3,4. Презентация 2)
• Now, I am sure, you know a lot about London Museums and Parks. Read the sentences and decide whether they are true or false.  Correct the wrong sentences. (Упражнение выполняется по группам)

 

1. You can meet great characters of history and art at Madam Tussaud’s museum;
2. There are no actors and filmstars among Madam Tussaud’s life-size figures of famous people;
3. There is a special place for the Queen’s family at Madam Tussaud’s Museum;
4. MOMI is a Natural History Museum;
5. In MOMI you can meet characters from the past;
6. There are few parks in London;
7. The statue of the famous PETER Pan is in Hyde Park;
8. The Natural History Museum was built in 1883;
9. There are five galleries in the Natural History Museum;
